Food is nice! I love the place! It has cozy atmosphere, clean, and perfect for casual dining. I’m rating this 4 stars for now because I definitely want to come back and try the other dishes on the menu. Their service is fast and efficient, with staff who are polite and attentive without being intrusive. The stir-fried potato is a must to try! It is simple but packed with flavour and texture. The sweet and sour pork hits the right balance of tangy and savory, with crispy edges and tender meat. The braised pork is not my personal favorite, but it certainly brings out that rich, bold Hunan-style flavour that fans of the cuisine will appreciate. The steamed egg was quite a disappointment for me because it lacked the smoothness and flavour I expected but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. So far, so good! I’m excited to return and explore more of their menu specially the spicier dishes and house specialties I’ve heard about. Definitely worth a visit if you’re into bold, home-style Chinese cooking.

Tried the new Hunan restaurant recently and was really impressed! The food was delicious and full of authentic flavor, every dish was fresh, balanced and well seasoned. The quality is excellent, and the restaurant has a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere that makes it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Highly recommend!

Value to price is my metrics and I'd say they are the comfort food type and suitable for families. Food is decent and okay~ could be better but nothing major to complain Tenderness of the mean can be improved.

Visiting date: 20 December 2025 My sister invited me to have dinner at this Hunan restaurant located on Level 4, Emporium Pluit, and it turned out to be a very pleasant experience. We ordered several dishes to share, including Hunan Signature Stir-Fried Pork, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Claypot Tofu (Hunan Style), and Hunan Steamed Rice with Sweet Potato. Overall, the food was nice and delicious. I really enjoyed the place—it has a cozy and clean atmosphere, making it perfect for casual dining with family or friends. Simple gravy but packed with flavor, and the tofu texture was just right. 8/10 Sweet and Sour Chicken – Well-balanced tangy and savory taste, crispy on the outside with tender meat inside. 8/10 Hunan Signature Stir-Fried Pork – Not my personal favorite and a bit overrated for me, but it does deliver that bold, rich Hunan-style flavor that fans of the cuisine will appreciate. 7/10 Steamed Rice with Sweet Potato – Quite disappointing. It lacked smoothness and flavor, and after some time the rice at the bottom became dry and sticky. 6.5/10 Overall experience was still good and I might to return and try more of their menu, especially the spicier dishes and house specialties reccomended by my sister. Definitely worth a visit again.

I really like the service,the server were very nice they talk politely,but the food is need to be improvise to match more to the real food in china,i think for the mala it need to be more spicy.but i like the food here especially the mala fried chicken,and the atmosphere very nice here,we can see people walking around in the mall while eating.
